We work for racial, economic, social, and gender justice, because we all deserve to live our lives freely, without fear, and with dignity. The Foundation provides financial support for innovative research and programs the enhance the power of psychology to elevate the human condition and advance human potential, both now and for generations to come. The Foundation focuses much of its GLBT grantmaking in Michigan, but it also supports efforts with national scope and impact to improve the quality of life of the GLBT community nationwide. The Foundation works for social, racial, and economic justice in the United States and internationally. Funding is earmarked for programs that help lesbians and allied communities challenge oppression and claim their human rights. The Foundation only supports organizations who wholeheartedly embrace the principle of equality.
